I, Maurice Balm, am responsible for the personal data processed through the Vesquero Studio portfolio. Contact: info@vesquero.com.
What data
If you email me, I receive your email address, possibly your name, your message and any further correspondence. In the case of an agreed sale or commission, invoicing, delivery and commission details may also be needed. The hosting provider may process technical data, such as IP addresses.
Purposes and legal bases
I process data to answer enquiries (legitimate interest), to take steps at your request before an agreement is made, to perform an agreement, to comply with legal obligations and to secure the website (legitimate interest). The legal basis depends on the processing.
Retention
Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement are, as a rule, deleted within 12 months of the last substantive contact, unless longer retention is justified. Transaction data is kept for the applicable statutory periods. Commission materials are, as a rule, deleted within 12 months of delivery, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
Service providers
The website is hosted by Netlify; email is handled through Microsoft/Outlook. For a physical artwork, necessary data may be shared with production, framing or delivery services. Personal data is not sold to advertisers.
International processing
Service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where the law requires it, data is transferred only with an appropriate transfer mechanism.
Cookies and technical data
The website does not knowingly use advertising trackers or analytics tools. Technical hosting logs may be created. If cookies or tracking are added later, I will update this statement and any consent mechanisms. The website stores your language preference locally in your browser using localStorage. This functional preference is not used for advertising or tracking visitors. The website includes a link to Instagram. If you follow that link, you leave this website and Instagram’s privacy policy applies.
Your rights
To the extent permitted by law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
