From first idea to finished artwork
An idea often begins with a familiar object: Delft blue, a garment, an architectural detail or a moment from Mediterranean life. Vesquero Studio combines such elements into compositions that can exist only in the image.
The process begins with a visual concept and deliberate choices of subject, atmosphere and composition. Generative AI is used to explore the possibilities. Critical selection, further artistic direction and digital refinement follow, with particular attention to proportion, anatomy, materials, reflections and small incongruities.
Worldmaking illustrates this approach: a globe becomes an imaginary world under construction. The detail shown is taken directly from the finished work and was not generated separately.
For physical presentation, the digital master file is prepared and checked for large-format production. I choose the material and dimensions for each work together with you. I am glad to discuss the final execution with you.
The name
Vesquero was chosen for its sound, character and distinctiveness. A name that cannot be confined to a single meaning, but leaves room for imagination. That is precisely where Vesquero Studio begins: with the familiar becoming unexpected, and with worlds that do not exist, yet seem entirely real.
