A windmill unfolds across a sculptural gown as a small rider approaches. In this meeting of Spanish court painting and Don Quixote, clothing, architecture and scale lose their familiar meaning.
Created. Not painted.

A globe serves as a working surface, surrounded by flowers, painted walls and a city beyond the window. Tiny figures do the work: the making of an imaginary world becomes the subject of the scene.
Dutch pictorial tradition, Mediterranean influence and unexpected imagination meet in works that invite you to look again.

A soft yolk rests in a shell that seems carved from stone, while the egg white flows away beneath it. The fragile and the enduring coincide: an everyday ingredient becomes an impossible object.

A red pepper has tied itself in a knot, calm and unhurried, on a bare stone table. The skin gathers in soft folds where the curve turns back, and the stem rises like a signature. Fire that restrains itself: a small, impossible gesture.

ABOUT
Founder and Creative Director
I live between the Netherlands and the Mediterranean coast of Spain, and draw inspiration from both worlds.
With a background in interior design, antiques, advertising and media, and a lifelong interest in art, history and pictorial composition, I founded Vesquero Studio to bring together eras, styles and ideas.
From classical art and historical objects to contemporary influences and digital innovation, my work unites elements that rarely meet in reality.
Each composition is carefully developed and refined, with an eye for detail, atmosphere and individuality.
